ASSEMBLYREPORT

 

On 9th October 2025, Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar in association with IQAC organized a College Assembly at 9:30 AM in the General Hall. The program was coordinated by First-Year Physical Science students, with active participation from Sandra, Pooja, Reema, Shilpa, Anjana and Nandhana.

Program Overview:

The morning assembly proceeded in a well-organized and disciplined manner. Anjana served as the anchor for the program, smoothly guiding the proceedings. Sandra, Pooja and Reema commenced the program with a prayer that established a serene and spiritual ambiance. Shilpa then led the pledge, fostering unity and national pride among the gathering.

Nandhana presented the news segment, keeping everyone informed about current affairs and significant developments. Sandra shared the thought for the day, reflecting on Kumaranasan’s famous quote: “Change the laws yourself, or they will change you.” She elaborated on how this wisdom applies to student life, emphasizing the importance of proactively shaping one’s academic journey and personal development, rather than passively allowing circumstances to dictate their path.

In keeping with Gandhi Jayanti week, the English Department conducted a special activity session that featured an engaging literary activity, promoting active involvement and enthusiasm among participants. The principal subsequently addressed the gathering, offering insightful guidance and words of encouragement. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, evoking deep patriotic sentiments and respect for the nation.

The Morning Buzz session was conducted on 1 October 2026 at 9:40 AM in the Assembly Hall, in collaboration with IQAC and the Science Club.
