COLLEGE ASSEMBLY (19/06/2026)

College Assembly was conducted by the students of second year Social Science, at 9:30 a.m. at the General Hall of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar. The Assembly started with a prayer and pledge, followed by a news reading by Devika to update everyone on current events and morning buzz conducted by maths department. Finally, Respected principal Dr. Shanmughadas K K addressed the gathering.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY 
The Assembly was enriched by an inspiring story by Akshya, this story tells us, books are not just papers; they are a great strength that nurtures our imagination and knowledge. Let’s make reading a habit and knowledgeable persons. Once again reading Day wishes to everyone This is the inspiring thought of the day in connection with reading day.

The Morning Buzz session was conducted on 1 October 2026 at 9:40 AM in the Assembly Hall, in collaboration with IQAC and the Science Club. It was presented by Sandhya A M as an interactive activity titled “This or That: Chemistry Battle.” Students were given two choices for each question and encouraged to select an option and explain their choice. The activity covered interesting chemistry topics such as acidity, conductivity, chemical changes, oxidation, reactivity, heat and change, acid–base  reactions, and ions. The correct answers were revealed along with simple scientific explanations.
