The Morning Buzz titled “Rhythms of Life: To a Vibrant Heart” was conducted by Saabira, a first-
year B.Ed. Mathematics student, during the morning assembly on World Heart Day, 29
September 2026.
The session began with an awareness segment titled “Top 10 Lines on World Heart Day,” which
highlighted the importance of a balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle, regular physical activity, and
heart-friendly habits. This was followed by an interactive activity, “Feel Your Pulse,” in which
participants observed and counted their pulse for 10 seconds and used the count to understand
their heart rate.
A quick-facts quiz about the heart was then conducted to test participants’ basic knowledge and
understanding of the human heart. Students actively participated by writing down their answers
and checking their pulse rate. The activities served as an engaging icebreaker for the morning
assembly, while promoting awareness, concentration, memory recall, and active participation.
Overall, the Morning Buzz created an energetic and informative learning environment,
combining health awareness with simple mathematics and interactive activities.
